Hi, I’m Anj Handa, Founder of Inspiring Women Changemakers, speaker, and culture bridging specialist. I also serve as an experienced board member.
My changemaking journey began in 2014 when I led a high-profile asylum campaign for Afusat Saliu and her daughters, at risk of FGM if returned to Nigeria. The campaign gained over 126,000 petition signatures and international attention. Although the family was deported, I raised funds to support their housing and education for a year.
That experience showed me the power of mobilising professional, purposeful people for good and led me to create Inspiring Women Changemakers, a community for those who want to lead with purpose and make a real difference in society.
